SENIOR DIRECTOR, CONSULTING OPERATIONS

We have been retained by our client to identify and recruit a Senior Director, Consulting Operations. Our Client is a multibillion dollar, global provider of consulting services across the asset and program life cycle within the Upstream (Onshore/Offshore) Oil & Gas market sector. As one of the most recognized and highly regarded firms in the industry, the Company is a market leader providing project monetization, optimization of existing assets, asset integrity and project development activities, primarily for Offshore consulting projects.

This position will be located in Houston, TX.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
  • Responsible for the growth and full performance of Consulting Operations providing a wide range of services including: feasibility, conceptual design, asset integrity, pre-FEED, optimization, engineering, and project development services.
  • Lead and manage operations providing upstream (onshore/offshore) consulting services to oil and gas value chain clients.
  • Ensure profitability and ensure successful project delivery for consulting projects.
  • Oversee and manage direct reports within the Consulting Group's operations.
  • Develop and execute the operating units' business strategy, including the annual and long-term business plans, ensuring that the regional business strategy is aligned with overall corporate strategic objectives.
  • Assess management capabilities and needs and develop methods to attract, recruit, and retain a talented management team to meet those needs.
  • Oversee and manage project risk with respect to solicitation, bidding, and ongoing management through project staffing and execution.
  • Advise the senior management team on key planning issues and make recommendations on key strategic decisions.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication, and coaching.
  • Work with the other business unit leadership teams to leverage the synergies between other business units operating within the upstream market.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of, and commitment to, compliance with all laws, regulations, and corporate policies to ensure the highest of ethics in business conduct including but not limited to the Company's codes of conduct and anti?corruption policies.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the value of safety policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate leadership by developing and mentoring the key leadership team within the region and developing the succession plan for future leadership.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication, and coaching.
  • Work with the other business unit leadership teams to leverage the synergies between other business units operating within the upstream market.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of, and commitment to, compliance with all laws, regulations, and corporate policies to ensure the highest of ethics in business conduct including but not limited to the Company's codes of conduct and anti?corruption policies.
